Translating
Besides being a diver, I am also a translator. I work mostly for PADI and DAN doing translations from English to Polish. My goal is to make the text as clear and easy to understand as possible for the reader, which is very important when translating standards or learning materials. I am still developing but I hope my translations are getting better and better:)
Languages
For me languages are not only the means of communication, they are mysterious systems which allow people to convey their knowledge and emotions. My native language is Polish, which gives me a great advantage – it is so difficult that any other language seems relatively easy:) Apart from Polish I speak English, Spanish, French and German. I particularly like reading in different languages as it is a great way to learn and explore different communication systems. I used to learn other languages as well, among them Russian, Portuguese, Swedish, Latin, Farsi and Irish. I never learnt any of them properly but I am really eager to come back to learning one or two of them:)
