How it all started...
It all started in 2006, when I saw a poster on a wall saying “Become a Diver”. I called the diving club and enrolled on a CMAS course. I did a few months’ training in a swimming pool and went to open water training in a Polish lake. It was dark, cold and not much too see but I liked it anyway. Then in December the same year I went to Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt and I was hooked. I loved beautiful reefs, colourful fish and the sensation of moving in a never ending 3D space.
A few years later I completed PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue and Divemaster courses. Then in 2010 I became an instructor and started sharing my passion with my students. For the first three years I worked in Poland when I taught diving in a lake or in a swimming pool, but my longing for clear water was too strong and in 2013 I moved to Gozo, Malta. I have lived and worked as a diving instructor there ever since and I still enjoy the beauty of this small, quiet island, both underwater and over the surface.

My qualifications
In 2010 I qualified as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor and started to teach diving. In 2013 I progressed to become a PADI Staff Instructor and in 2022 I also became an SSI Instructor. At the beginning of 2024 I fulfilled my dream and got Full Cave Diver certification in Mexico and then in April 2024 finished TDI Deco Procedures course in Gozo. But learning never ends and I am still developing my skills.
My work
I have lived in Gozo since 2013 and worked in three diving centres. In 2024 I started working as a freelance instructor and guide. I am associated with a diving centre called Blue Hole Diving located in Marsalforn.
I have been diving in Gozo for quite a long time, but I have also dived in Poland, Egypt, Maledives and Mexico. Gozo is famous for its rocks, tunnels and caverns and it is one of the best places to dive in Europe. I am really happy to show this stunning underwater world to divers and see them come out of the water in awe.
I also love teaching diving and I can do it in five languages. The most rewarding course for me is a Divemaster course. I love explaining standards and procedures and as a PADI translator I know them quite well (or at least I know where to find them). I am really proud of my students who come as divers and leave as diving professionals.
I have been teaching different things for more than 25 years. I am a trained teacher and a sports instructor and I used to teach English, Spanish and Taekwon-do ITF. I also studied cognitive psychology as I wanted to understand the process of learning and make it easier for my students. Now I use all my knowledge and experience to provide the best diving training I can.
